Mental Health Awareness Month
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Mental health, an important part of whole-person wellness, can affect any of us at any stage in life. It affects how we think, feel, act, and determines how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices.
At Southcentral Foundation, we join you on your wellness journey. To learn more about the mental health resources available to you, click the button below.
Obstetrics and Gynecology
Maintaining regular check-ups is a health habit women can adopt to improve their health and well-being. Cancer screenings provide customer-owners the opportunity to talk with their primary care provider about their family history and ask about diabetes, osteoporosis, high blood pressure, or cholesterol.

Physical Therapy & Exercise
Southcentral Foundation’s Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Exercise department provides comprehensive care for various conditions. The team works together with customer-owners to encourage healthier lifestyles.
In addition to services provided by SCF’s physical therapists, occupational therapists, and exercise physiologists, customer-owners have access to the wellness center at the Mt. Marathon Building on the Alaska Native Medical Campus. Jumpstart your summer activity by joining one of the exercise classes offered in a variety of styles to meet your strength, cardio, and mobility needs.
