What are Microsoft 365 and Office 365?
Microsoft 365 is the new name for Office 365. This solution ensures that you always have the best office tools developed by Microsoft. This includes the latest versions of Office desktop software you already know, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. You can also use other applications to increase productivity and strengthen collaboration within your teams, such as Outlook, OneNote, and Publisher.
What is the difference between OVHcloud’s Microsoft 365 solutions and those offered directly by Microsoft?
By choosing OVHcloud Microsoft 365 solutions (previously named Office 365), all your data is hosted in our datacentres in Europe. This means that it is not subject to foreign legislation, and remains your property. You get all of the Microsoft 365 services apart from OneDrive storage, which is disabled. Our teams are working to offer you additional storage space, also hosted in our European datacentres.

How do I install Microsoft 365?
Simply create one or more users in the OVHcloud Control Panel, then assign them licences in the Web/Microsoft/Office section. You will receive your Microsoft/Office portal login credentials via your contact email address, and you can then begin installing your Microsoft 365 suite.
Do you have the Microsoft 365 Pro Plus solution (formerly Office 365 Pro Plus)? You can also install a licence on a shared desktop using Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
