NAS Organization
The NASA Advanced Supercomputing (NAS) Division is comprised of three branches, organized by technical area:
Computational Aerosciences Branch: Develops, enhances, and applies predictive capabilities in computational aerosciences, and performs large-scale simulations that advance the goals of NASA’s aeronautics and human space exploration activities.
Advanced Computing Branch: Accelerates and enhances NASA’s science and engineering objectives by providing reliable high-performance systems, innovative tools, and customized user services that make up a highly productive advanced computing environment that serves all of the agency’s key mission areas.
Computational Physics Branch: Develops multi-disciplinary physical models, numerical methods and algorithms, and simulation tools that support NASA science and space technology programs.
