Microsoft Research reposted this
At Microsoft, with each emerging technology, with each new opportunity, we ask ourselves an important question: how can we advance sustainability? Today, I am excited to share our 2024 Environmental Sustainability Report. Since setting our ambitious targets in 2020, we have shared an annual snapshot of our progress and learnings in hopes that we might also help others on their sustainability journey. Over the last four years since setting our commitments, we have worked together to overcome bottlenecks and have accelerated progress in meaningful ways. The innovation and collaboration driven by our employees, partners, customers, Climate Innovation Fund portfolio companies, and so many more are what make progress possible. Ambitious sustainability targets require ambitious action. I invite you to read the report to learn more about our journey and continue this path with us to help create a more sustainable future.
