Last year, with my dear friend and colleague Miguel Pagan, we were on a business trip together in Asia and we used a free moment to take a Thai boxing lesson with a professional instructor. While I certainly don’t look the part, I have been doing Thai boxing on and off for more than 10 years now, not to compete in the ring, but for endurance, coordination, strength, and simply because it is also fun. And it was a unique pleasure to train together with Miguel, who is a life-long practitioner of Karate and a true master. These sports require full focus while you practice, and while physically exhausting (as you can see, the training took its toll on us😉), it allows you to channel your energy and release it in a positive way, and mentally, this full focus is really relaxing. As the old saying goes: Healthy mind in a healthy body. Spürbare Sorge über Medikamentenversorgung – Wir müssen jetzt handeln 50 Prozent der Deutschen schätzen die derzeitige Versorgungslage mit Arzneimitteln kritisch ein. Das zeigen aktuelle Ergebnisse des neuesten STADA Health Report, in dem europaweit 32.000 Menschen in 16 Ländern befragt wurden. Die Einschätzung der Deutschen liegt 11 Prozent und somit dramatisch über dem Durchschnittswert für Europa. 28 Prozent hierzulande fürchten sich davor, zukünftig keinen Zugang zu notwendigen Medikamenten zu haben. Das sollte uns zu denken geben. Was aber muss passieren, um diese Sorgen nicht Realität werden zu lassen? Darüber habe ich letzte Woche auf der Jahrestagung von @IQVIA in Frankfurt gesprochen. Gerade Generikahersteller benötigen dringend attraktive Anreize, um die Versorgung auch in Zukunft zu sichern. Das ALBVVG mag ein erster kleiner Schritt sein. Ausreichen wird das aber nicht, um diverse Lieferketten zu fördern und Engpässe langfristig zu vermeiden.
