I am happy to announce the formation of the new UBL Commodities Subcommittee. This initiative will focus on enhancing OASIS UBL (ISO/IEC 19845) by adding essential data elements for the trade and procurement of commodities with a focus on improving traceability within supply chains, thereby facilitating the exchange of crucial ESG and circularity data. Congratulations to Michael Coletta of Orbex Market Group on being elected as chair of the new subcommittee. Michael has been instrumental in setting up this initiative, and I am confident that his expertise and leadership will drive forward our goals of increased efficiency, transparency, sustainability, and traceability in the commodities markets.
