ISO - International Organization for Standardization’s Post

38th CASCO Plenary held in Uganda this week The ISO committee for conformity assessment (CASCO) gathered for its annual plenary, hosted by the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS). From 23-26 April, we dove into the heart of conformity assessment. The meeting also offered the opportunity to explore the Online Standards Development (OSD) platform and to learn more about ISO’s Action Plan for Developing Countries. The week culminated in a workshop on the African Continental Free Trade Area (#AfCFTA) and how conformity assessment supports businesses and economies in implementing it, facilitating trade and ensuring quality and safety.
