We cannot build the innovative, safe and sustainable digital future we need without half of humanity https://lnkd.in/exNGNKCJ ITU Secretary-General Doreen Bogdan-Martin calls on the international community to encourage more young women to take up STEM careers and bridge the digital divide once and for all. Let’s celebrate, support and inspire our #GirlsInICT today — and every day
In places such as Africa, having less women in such fields also contributes to technologies ot being women friendly. This reminds me of case study I was part where men have a higher chance to being connected to the internet than women due to a variety of factors. We need to spread this gospel.

3wI really have hard time with these statements that infantilise girls and woman. These sentiments are.dangerous. Women, girls are capable and these super tailored initiatives for girls separate humanity again. Ex Yugoslavia..the country I am coming from we had 50% of women in mathematical gymnasium and that was more than 30 years ago. 30% were studiyng together with me Telecommunication at Elektrotechnincal University in Sarajevo. 2 months ago I was running Product Development Leadership training in India. Out of 25 participants 11 were woman. Seems that world us going backwards in Europe.
