AFRINIC is the Regional Internet Registry (RIR) for Africa and Indian Ocean Region.

About us

AFRINIC is the African Registry for Internet Numbers. Its role is to effeiciently Manage Internet Number resources for Africa Region, alike the four other continents which have their own RIRs (ARIN, APNIC, LACNIC, RIPE-NCC). AFRINIC operates as a not-for-profit organisation with a membership model. Today AfriNIc provides Internet Number resources to 54 countries in its service region we currently serve 1000 Network Operators accross the continent.
