In 2023, Science Magazine named GLP-1 drugs as the Breakthrough of the Year. On Friday, we honored Lotte Bjerre Knudsen and Richard DiMarchi, whose persistence and perseverance in advancing our understanding of this class of drugs as a treatment option for obesity-related health effects earned them the Mani L.
