The event will focus on two main topics: Internet Governance and Universal Acceptance.
In the Internet Governance section (half a day), there will be a discussion on how policies and decision-making processes affect the internet, addressing the global governance structure, regulatory challenges, and the role of the entities involved.
The Universal Acceptance section (half a day) will highlight the benefits of being UA-ready, explain basic technical concepts, and provide guides on achieving UA compatibility.
We will have the participation, as far as possible, of outstanding personalities such as Margarita Valdes, Legal and Business Director of NIC Chile; Luis Arancibia, lawyer of NIC Chile and president of the Board of Directors of LACTLD; Patricio Poblete, director of NIC Chile and member of the ICANN board; and Luis Sergio Valle, Universal Acceptance Ambassador for Latin America and the Caribbean in LACRALO - ICANN At Large.
