Join the ICANN for Beginners Virtual Program Webinar on Universal Acceptance

In January 2023, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) will be holding its second webinar as part of the ICANN for Beginners Virtual Program.

The upcoming webinar, "ICANN for Beginners: Universal Acceptance," will introduce newcomers to the basics of Universal Acceptance (UA).

UA is the bridge to a multilingual Internet. It enables people everywhere to access and use the Internet in their own languages and scripts which is essential to bringing the next billion users online. Webinar participants will learn more about UA and how they can get involved.

The ICANN for Beginners Virtual Program comprises a series of interactive webinars held via Zoom and provides participants with an overview of the global Internet ecosystem. The program also describes how newcomers can join the global community and help shape Internet governance.

Moderated by experienced ICANN staff members, the program aims to broaden participants' knowledge about, and foster participation at ICANN.

How to participate:

Participating is easy, free, and open to all. No prior technical or Internet governance experience is necessary. The "ICANN for Beginners: Universal Acceptance" webinar will be offered on two dates. Simply register for the one that suits you best:

Closing date for registration: 16 January 2023. The webinars are in English only. Recordings will be posted here after the webinars.
