Call for Nominations: ICANN Academy 2024 Leadership Program

9 October 2023

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has issued a call for nominations for the 2024 Leadership Program, to be held 29 February – 1 March 2024 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, just before the ICANN79 Public Meeting.

The Leadership Program helps current and incoming leaders better understand the complexities of ICANN, while also helping to develop their facilitation skills.

Current and incoming community leaders interested in participating in the program need to be endorsed by their Supporting Organization, Advisory Committee, or stakeholder group chairs. The ICANN organization will reach out to the respective chairs for nominations and a registration link will be sent directly to individuals who are nominated.

The deadline for nomination is Wednesday, 15 November 2023. The Leadership Program will not provide financial support for travel to San Juan, but will cover accommodations and offer a stipend for the days of the program.

About ICANN

ICANN's mission is to help ensure a stable, secure, and unified global Internet. To reach another person on the Internet, you need to type an address – a name or a number – into your computer or other device. That address must be unique so computers know where to find each other. ICANN helps coordinate and support these unique identifiers across the world. ICANN was formed in 1998 as a nonprofit public benefit corporation with a community of participants from all over the world.
