We've ordered these systems for a few properties over the years and I've been pleased with the product. Installation is quick and easy. The instructions included are simple to follow. I was able to install and set up for full functionality on three cameras most recently at our new home and did the whole system in about 20 minutes. The sensitivity settings are really important for you to adjust as some areas will trigger your camera a lot and drastically reduce batter life. The system allows you to delete portions of the camera's field of view from the "trigger area" (I'm not sure what else to call it). Basically, you'll see the camera's field of view and you can select portions of the view on your phone for the motion detector to ignore, so it does not trip a recording event. Our front door camera faces the busy street, so I was able to remove the entire street portion of the field of view so that passing cars don't trigger the camera, focusing solely on the areas I'm concerned about, like the driveway and front door itself. The night vision on these things is stellar as well. For the money spent, these are hands down the most economical and effective choice I have found on the market.

*UPDATE* I was contacted by a Blink associate concerning my review. I was sent out a new battery extender.. I installed it & everything is working great! I wish I had another Outdoor 4 camera... I'm impressed 👏

This battery extender does a wonderful job of extending the length of time between battery changes needed by Blink Cameras. The installation was easy, the instructions are clear. My only gripe is the only mounting arm that will work with it is the original one that came with the camera. The fancier, sturdier mount that is available for the Blink 4 Outdoor cameras will not work because it is too shallow to accommodate the camera with a battery extender. I hope this is a problem they will solve with later iterations of the camera mount.

Do not buy this product!! I purchased 3 outdoor camera's for a second home and just installed them last weekend. We no sooner left and the cameras stopped working. When I called for technical assistance, they could not find a fix for them and took all three cameras completely offline. I had purchased this product before and had issues with the battery life so I purchased the additional battery packs to go with the new cameras- clearly that didnt work either. Returning these just as soon as we can get back and take them down!!
