How do our bands differ?

First, our bands are made of high quality latex (not rubber bands which are much cheaper and tend to break easily). They are stronger and able to stretch further. You will feel the same resistance after a dozen reps.

These bands are made of latex, not materials such as Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) - TPE materials cost 40% less, are not gentle to skin and much less durable.

Second, our bands are comfortable, soft and easy on the skin. The only way to achieve that is to let the latex rest for a long time in tightly controlled circumstances such as temperature and humidity before making the bands.

Both of these involve a higher investment for us but we think it's worth it to create a better product.

I’ve only had them a short time and they are good quality, but like many others I think mentioned, they do roll easily and stick together. I’m not sure if there’s any that don’t tho as even as I’m watching my BOD workout wondering if I should have got those, I noticed the modifier persons band was a little rolled too. Tempted to get just fabric ones but generally those are greater weight of resistance.

I purchased these because I have gotten deconditioned over the last couple of years due to cancer therapy and vertigo. I am able to do chair exercises and stretching, so this style of resistance band was recommended. I like that there are a graduated set of resistance bands in different colors to tell them apart, and they have been helpful with my routine to improve flexibility, strength, and endurance in both my upper and lower body. I recommend them for anyone, but they are particularly useful with rehab style exercises.

What can one say about exercise bands? They work, and one has to take for granted that their resistance levels are reasonably accurate. My personal trainer advised me to start with the band with least resistance. That is what I have done, so I have not used all of them yet. My only complaint is that the pouch is a little too short to allow the bands to be stored with the pouch closed. A minor complaint.

I was almost ready to purchase the fabric resistance bands but after reading some of the reviews, I decided on purchasing these cheaper latex bands about a month ago. I am so glad I did! They are perfect for the strengthening exercises recommended by my therapist. I had originally gotten a free band to use from my therapist but it kept rolling on my thighs and it eventually snapped. I have only used the yellow band so far from this purchase but I can tell the quality is so much better than the one my therapist gave me to use. What is really nice is the fact that this one doesn’t roll! Well worth the price!
