Email Metrics Report

The MAAWG Email Metrics Program: The Network Operators’ Perspective is compiled quarterly from aggregated data provided directly from MAAWG member ISPs, email providers and network operators. It is a voluntary program and each report covers at least 100 million mailboxes. Current reports include data for almost 500 million mailboxes.

These MAAWG metrics reports have become a vital industry resource for understanding the extent of abusive email and for tracking hazardous activity tendencies. Each report looks at the current quarter and also contains a 12-month history. The complete archive of reports is provided for those who want to investigate trends since the reports were initiated with data from the last quarter of 2005.
