Mozilla Developer NetworkThe Mozilla Developer Network (MDN) is a wiki, where anyone can add and edit content. You don't need to be a programmer or know a lot about technology. There is a range of tasks that need to be done, from the simple (proof-reading and correcting typos) to the complex (writing API documentation).
We need your help! It's easy. Don't worry about asking for permission, don't worry about making mistakes. On the other hand, please get to know the MDN community - we're here to help!
Get an account
You need an MDN account to add and edit pages. Click "Sign in" at the top right of any MDN page. (MDN uses Mozilla's Persona technology for accounts.)

Pick a task
Quick and easy
- Copy edit and correct typos: If you see something wrong, fix it! If you think something could be explained more clearly, fix it! Helpful resources:
- Tag pages: Add tags to pages to help categorize information and also to indicate pages that need work or that are obsolete and should be deprecated. Helpful resources:
- Log bugs: Report larger and more complex problems by creating a documentation bug in Bugzilla. Helpful resources:
Technical tasks
- Fix tagged pages: Check out the To-do list for a list of pages that have tags that indicate they need work.
- Fix Bugzilla bugs: Use the MDN Documentation bug tracker to find bugs that need to be fixed. Helpful resources:
- Create new pages or expand existing pages: New content that expand MDN is highly appreciated! Helpful resources:
Other tasks
- Localize MDN: Help us publish as much of the Mozilla Developer Network as possible in languages other than English. Helpful resources:
