We are looking for Mission Critical Engineers.

Technical skills and an innovative spirit are pre-requisites. More important are the 100% attitude and 10 years of relevant working experience with complex IT projects. You are capable of designing, building and managing dedicated mission critical application infrastructures for our customers. Security is an integral part of your engineering approach.

In your current working environment you’ll be indispensable (you’ll be on call even during your holidays), hidden in a competence centre silo or you’ll have been asked to become a Consultant or Manager, losing contact with the real work and daily practice, where you really want to be. You want to be a focussed and outstanding Engineer, an extraordinary craftsman working amongst equals.

You are accustomed to think from the customer’s perspective. You enjoy the responsibility which comes with running critical systems over ‘just’ an Operating System: working for a bank above working on a Unix-system. You want to be deployed in the frontline. Have daily contact with your customer. You want to work with real peers and learn what to do is best. Above all you want to do brilliant things together with your colleagues and customers. Your work matters.

You are capable of translating the customers’ functional and business requirements into technical designs. With your outstanding communication skills, you’re able to explain the rationale behind those translations to decision makers and your colleagues from the multi-skilled customer team. In addition, you can build and run these complex application infrastructures. And by taking a holistic approach, you’ll create intelligent, thorough and right first time solutions. At the same time finding the right balance between monitoring, automating and engineering.

You will combine your flexible mind with an integrated view on technology, security and solutions. You’re an architect with a passion for zero-maintenance solutions and there isn’t a system that can beat you. You are constantly trying to find new ways of monitoring and automating your customer’s mission critical application infrastructure. Right first time is your motto. Nothing is taken for granted, you’ll get it up and running and you’ll keep it stable while changing the system. There’s nothing like a challenge.

You would like to work with peers in a close-knit, high performing multi-skilled team, and be intellectually challenged by the projects you work on. You’d like direct contact with customers and work together with customers and peers to build structurally sound solutions. You like to work for multiple clients in a dedicated environment and the challenge to find the right solution -comprehensive and custom-made.
