Federal Minister Dirk Nie­bel pre­sents first ever draft con­cept for a ho­lis­tic edu­ca­tion strat­e­gy in Ger­man de­vel­op­ment policy

On 1 March 2011, Dirk Niebel, the German Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and De­vel­op­ment, presented the draft concept for Ger­many's first ever holistic education strategy in development policy to 200 high-level education sector repre­sen­tatives from Ger­many and abroad. The pre­sen­ta­tion and dis­cussion of the strategy took place at the inter­national education conference "More education. More growth. More justice. On our way to an ed­u­ca­tion strategy for German de­vel­op­ment policy".
