Federal Minister Dirk Niebel presents first ever draft concept for a holistic education strategy in German development policy
On 1 March 2011, Dirk Niebel, the German Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, presented the draft concept for Germany's first ever holistic education strategy in development policy to 200 high-level education sector representatives from Germany and abroad. The presentation and discussion of the strategy took place at the international education conference "More education. More growth. More justice. On our way to an education strategy for German development policy".
