iGA (Istanbul Grand Airport) is an airport infrastructure contractor company, established in October 7, 2013 to construct the Istanbul Airport and operate it for 25 years. iGA Istanbul Airport is 35 km to the city center. The construction plan of the airport was divided into four phases. Within the scope of the first phase, currently there are three runways and a terminal building with a 90-million passenger capacity. When all phases are completed, iGA Istanbul Airport will offer flights to more than 300 destinations with an annual passenger capacity of 200 million. As of April 2022, the partnership status of iGA, which is progressing towards its future goals with conviction in aviation as Türkiye's foremost strategic line of business, due to its solid partnership structure, is as follows: 55% to Kalyon Havacılık ve İnşaat A.Ş., 45% to Cengiz İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. iGA Istanbul Airport was selected the "World's Best Airport" in 2022 by the readers of the world-renowned travel and lifestyle magazine Condé Nast Traveler, and the airport is won a "5 Star Airport" once again by the global aviation organization Skytrax.

    Representing iGA Istanbul Airport, our A.Aviation Development Manager, Gokhan Dolek, MBA, attended the Routes Americas aviation conference. During the "Routes Americas" aviation conference held in the capital city of Colombia, Bogota, Dölek conducted an interview titled "Positioning iGA Istanbul Airport to be the Hub of Türkiye," where he discussed the following: 📌 In 2023, we increased our airline count to 100 and our destination count to 315 with the addition of 22 new airlines to our flight network. 📌 We became one of the two European airports connecting to all continents worldwide. 📌 Becoming Europe's busiest airport, we broke the daily flight record in European Civil Aviation history. 📌 We continue to increase our destination and airline numbers every day. 📌 Only 7% of the banned flights in the European Union are flights under 500 km; the main source of carbon emissions is long-haul flights. 📌 Our goal is to increase the recycling rate from its current 35% to 50% by 2030. 📌 In 2024, we aim to break our passenger record with 85 million passengers and become the first European airport to implement triple parallel runway operations. İGA İstanbul Havalimanı'nı temsilen Rota ve Trafik Geliştirme Müdür Yardımcımız Gokhan Dolek, MBA, Routes Americas havacılık konferansına katıldı. Kolombiya’nın başkenti Bogota şehrinde düzenlenen “Routes Americas” havacılık konferansında “Positioning iGA Istanbul Airport to be the Hub of Türkiye” konulu röportaj gerçekleştiren Dölek konuşmasında şunlardan bahsetti. 📌 2023 yılında uçuş ağımıza katılan 22 yeni hava yolu ile hava yolu sayımızı 100’e, destinasyon sayımızı 315’e çıkardık. 📌 Dünya üzerindeki tüm kıtalara bağlantı veren Avrupalı 2 havalimanından bir tanesi olduk. 📌 Avrupa'nın en yoğun havalimanı haline gelerek ve Avrupa Sivil Havacılık tarihi günlük uçuş rekorunu kırdık. 📌 Destinasyon ve hava yolu sayılarımızı her geçen gün arttırmaktayız. 📌 Avrupa Birliği’nde 500 km’nin altındaki uçuşlara getirilen yasak uçuşların sadece %7’sini oluşturuyor, esas karbon emisyonu kaynağı uzun-hat uçuşlar. 📌 Şu anda %35 olan geri dönüşüm oranımızı 2030 yılına kadar %50'ye çıkarma hedefindeyiz.  📌 2024 yılında 85 milyon yolcu ile yolcu rekorumuzu kırmak ve üçlü paralel pist operasyonlarını uygulayan ilk Avrupalı havalimanı olmayı hedefliyoruz. #IstanbulAirport #İstanbulHavalimanı

    Our Chief Airport Planning Officer, Ismail H. Polat, participated as a speaker at the International Smart Transportation Summit. Between May 2nd and May 4th, at Hacettepe University Beytepe Campus, Mr. Polat attended the International Smart Transportation Summit, where the highlights of his speech included: 📌 We have elevated the operational efficiency of our airport by enhancing passenger experience through smart transportation projects. 📌 Our efforts in the field of Air Mobility will introduce a new and innovative transportation model in air transportation. 📌 We reaffirmed our commitment to contributing to the industry, as iGA Istanbul Airport, through our membership in AUS Turkey.     Yesterday morning, thanks to the skilled intervention of our iGA Airport Rescue and Firefighting team (ARFF), we towed the cargo plane that had landed on its fuselage off the runway positioned it safely in the parking area. The runway is back to normal, and it's operating smoothly without any interruption. We want to thank our all shareholders and teams, who worked diligently throughout the process. 👏 Dün sabah saatlerinde İGA Havalimanı Kurtarma ve Yangınla Mücadele ekibi başarılı müdahalesiyle gövdesi üzerine inen kargo uçağı, pistten çekilerek park pozisyonuna alınmıştır.
