The Search facility has recently been broken; you can no longer restrict the search to a drive, or even to a folder. This makes the search virtually useless to me since I have a complex folder tree (over 23000 files in 807 folders on internal storage alone). As of 1st Sept 2020, Samsung has also removed the ability to add / remove / edit shortcuts to folders from within the app. They can now only be added to the home screen.

Annoying app. It constantly tells me I have limited space (even though I currently have 1.1gb free). It's poorly designed for any of it's functions - file manager, download manager, viewing files, anything it can do, there are a good dozen free apps that do it better. And many more paid ones I'm sure. And it's a system app so it can't be deleted without rooting, making it a useless space hog. It's like Samsung went out of their way to make the app as unusable as possible.

When I save music singles in "Download" folder, they are displayed in all player apps without the album cover, However, when I save them in any other folder, they will be displayed with the album cover of the first track I upload in that folder...example, if i only save a single track into the internal "Music" folder like "Eminem "Lose yourself".. then every other track I upload into that folder will have "Eminem Lose yourself" as the album art cover. This happens for All folders except Download

What's new

- When searching the internal storage, you can immediately add or delete Favorites while checking the folder route.
- When compressing files, you can strengthen the security by entering a password. Compressed files with passwords can also be unzipped.
- “Analyze storage” now shows you how much storage is being used by file type on OneDrive/Google Drive.
