Transition to 10-digit dialing for 988

Service Providers operating in the NPAs required to transition to 10-digit dialing for 988 National Suicide Prevention Lifeline


Information below pertains to the FCC Order 20-100, which designated 988 as the 3-digit abbreviated dialing code to access the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, and the requirement to transition to 10-digit dialing in the 82 area codes that currently permit 7-digit dialing and also use 988 as a Central Office code.
