This repository's issues list manages requests to add and change entries in the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) Proxy-Status registries. Please note our contribution terms.

NOTE: it's advisable -- but not required -- to circulate your proposal on the HTTP Working Group Mailing List mailing list first. If your request is not circulated there, it may be as part of the evaluation process.

To request registration of a Proxy-Status parameter or error type (or a change to an existing one), you can:

• File an issue (preferred), or
• Send e-mail to the HTTP Working Group mailing list (someone will create an issue for you).

Once approved, your request will be incorporated into the IANA registry, whereupon it will be officially registered.
