✅ ENAIRE ha presentado en sociedad sus concursos de ideas de negocio, retos tecnológicos y startup, en una #jornada de demostración de las soluciones innovadoras en España que están moldeando el futuro de la aviación que se ha celebrado hoy. 🗣️ El director general, Enrique Maurer, ha destacado “la vital importancia de fomentar la innovación para un espacio aéreo seguro, eficiente y sostenible”. 👉 El programa ENAIRE Open Innovation aporta el concepto de Innovación Abierta, que busca talento también fuera de la organización, por ejemplo, en universidades y en emprendedores dentro y fuera del sector. It was an honor taking this ride at the Tahko Ski Lift Pitch in Finland and making it to the finals! 🏆 ⛷ Pitching from a ski lift was definitely a unique and memorable experience for #AIMETHODS A big shoutout to David Hernández Cela from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid for his great mentorship 🙌 and we are also grateful for the support from YUFE Alliance: the #YUFE Accelerator Program was a fantastic opportunity for collaboration and growth!
🏆 We were finalists at Tahko Ski Lift Pitch competition! I spent the last week in Finland, helping our spinoffs to do the best pitch possible. I traveled from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid with my colleages María Jesús Nieto Sánchez and Aniel Jardines (CEO AI METHODS). Thanks to YUFE Alliance we could organise Yufe Accelerator Program, with the partisipation of 4 spinnoffs from University of Antwerp, UC3M and Univerisity of Cyprus, and several from University of Eastern Finland. Thanks Tomi Tuovinen and Riikka Pellinen for the host and the organisation, and Barbara Tan for your help 🙂 As you can see in the photos, our startups pitched while being in the ski lift 🎿⛷. This was a new experience for all of us and, for sure, one of the best. I have to congrats all of you for your work and your projects. I forsee some great companies: Wim Cuypers, Lore Pauwels, Julia Gauglitz, Adonis Hadjigeorgiou, Aniel Jardines We visited University of Eastern Finland at Kuopio. Marko Pietilä showed us the installations, labs, innovative projects, etc. And also a brief visit to Business Center Pohjois-Savo, where Matti Laitinen explained us how they help companies. Last but not least, we could have memorable moments testing finnish food, crossing frozen lakes, having some saunas at our cabin in the woods and going out for some karaoke and beers 🍻 . This week marked a significant milestone for the KAIROS.eu project, as the 1st biannual meeting of the project took place in the magic city of #Istanbul💫 📆 On Tuesday, the #KAIROS team convened at IGA Istanbul Airport in a hybrid meeting. With 21 presentations and over 8 hours of productive discussions on the project, we not only reviewed #research progress, but also strengthened our connections beyond the confines of our screens. These bonds are sure to enhance teamwork and raise the quality of our research. 🛬 Yesterday, attendees had the opportunity to witness current methods in #weather forecasting and airside operations at the IGA control tower, and gain valuable insights during a visit to the #Airport Operations Control Centre. Thanks to all the attendees for their contributions, to the SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking for their support, and our deepest gratitude goes to İGA İstanbul Airport for their exceptional hospitality as a host partner!
