Abstract: This liaison statement informs ITU-T SG2, SG11, SG13, 3GPP SA2, 3GPP SA3 and IETF CATS on the initiation of new work item ITU-T TR.sec-int-cpc: “Security considerations for interconnection of computing power centers”. ITU-T Study Group 17 (SG17) informs you that a new work item ITU-T TR.sec-int-cpc “Security considerations for interconnection of computing power centers” was agreed at the ITU-T SG17 meeting, held in Geneva, 20 February – 1 March 2024. The intent of new work item ITU-T TR.sec-int-cpc is to provide an overview of the general security objectives as well as a comprehensive security risk analysis for the interconnection of computing power centers. ITU-T SG17 would like to keep close collaboration continuously with ITU-T SG2, SG11, SG13, 3GPP SA2, 3GPP SA3 and IETF CATS.
