This liaison statement informs ITU-T SG13, 3GPP SA1 and IETF that ITU-T SG11 initiated the draft new work item Q.PDS “Protocols for supporting data streaming service in IMT-2020 network and beyond” in Q6/11(Geneva, 10-19 May 2023). During the ITU-T SG11 meeting (Geneva, 10-19 May 2023), Q6/11 agreed on the initiation of a new work item on “Protocols for supporting data streaming service in IMT-2020 network and beyond” (ITU-T Q.PDS, TD495/GEN). ITU-T Q.PDS aims to specify signalling requirements, signalling flows and message format for supporting data streaming service in IMT-2020 network and beyond, based on the IMT-2020 architecture and enhance the capabilities to supporting continuous connectivity and SLA requirements for data streaming service. ITU-T Q6/11 would like to thank you for your attention and further cooperation on this topic.
