“I have worked with many professional consultants throughout my journey, but Makito was unique and one of the best consultant. I was impressed by his ability & technical expertise during implementing one of the largest Enterprise Networking Project in our company history. He was always very patient, solution-oriented and there was nothing he couldn’t solve it and we got the best result with International Standard Quality in this Enterprise Networking Project. I highly recommend him and I would gladly work with him again in our future journey.”
About
I have been working in Internet industry since 2005, in my past 18 years career, I have held software engineering, network engineering, and senior management roles at a few Internet Service Provider (ISP) and technology companies.
I have designed, implemented, and operated several ISP networks for my employers and my customers, which those networks are providing multiple services for their clients, such as: Broadband Internet (ADSL, FTTH), DIA, IP Transit, DPLC, IPLC, Site-to-site VPN, Server Colocation, Anycast, DDoS Mitigation...etc.
I enjoy knowledge sharing with the community and therefore I participated in the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC)’s Community Trainer program as a Retained Community Trainer, I regularly deliver training to participants in the region on behalf of APNIC. Furthermore, I volunteer as a member of Cambodia Network Operators Group (KHNOG) for my personal commitment to enhance the Internet development of Cambodia, and I was elected as the Co-Chair of KHNOG’s Executive Committee in February 2022.
Areas of Expertise: BGP, MPLS, IPv6, Coding & Databases.

Presentation: Site-to-site Layer 2 VPN with PPP BCP
MikroTik User Meeting (Cambodia, 2017)
As we all know, EoIP is awesome for bridging two or more layer 2 networks over the Internet, but in reality, there are many cases that not all VPN sites have a global routable public IP, and this is very common in Asia. In this presentation, we will talk about other alternatives for bridging layer 2 networks over the Internet in case VPN remote sites do not have public IP.
