Cluster structures for the $A_{\infty}$ singularity
Abstract: We study a category $\mathcal{C}_2$ of $\mathbb{Z}$-graded MCM modules over the $A_\infty$ curve singularity and demonstrate it has infinite type $A$ cluster combinatorics. In particular, we show that this Frobenius category (or a suitable subcategory) is stably equivalent to the infinite type $A$ cluster categories of Holm-Jorgensen, Fisher and Paquette-Yildirim. As a consequence,… ▽ More

Approximating triangulated categories by spaces
Abstract: We initiate a systematic study of lattices of thick subcategories for arbitrary essentially small triangulated categories. To this end we give several examples illustrating the various properties these lattices may, or may not, have and show that as soon as a lattice of thick subcategories is distributive it is automatically a spatial frame. We then construct two non-commutative spectra, one funct… ▽ More

Lattices of t-structures and thick subcategories for discrete cluster categories
Abstract: We classify t-structures and thick subcategories in discrete cluster categories $\mathcal{C}(\mathcal{Z})$ of Dynkin type $A$, and show that the set of all t-structures on $\mathcal{C}(\mathcal{Z})$ is a lattice under inclusion of aisles, with meet given by their intersection. Categories for Grassmannian cluster algebras of infinite rank
Abstract: We construct Grassmannian categories of infinite rank, providing an infinite analogue of the Grassmannian cluster categories introduced by Jensen, King, and Su. Each Grassmannian category of infinite rank is given as the category of graded maximal Cohen-Macaulay modules over a certain hypersurface singularity. We show that generically free modules of rank $1$ in a Grassmannian category of infinite… ▽ More

Cluster tilting modules for mesh algebras
Abstract: We study cluster tilting modules in mesh algebras of Dynkin type, providing a new proof for their existence. In all but one case, we show that these are precisely the maximal rigid modules, and that they are equivariant for a certain automorphism. We further study their mutation, providing an example of mutation in an abelian category which is not stably 2-Calabi-Yau, and explicitly describe the c… ▽ More

Friezes satisfying higher SL$_k$-determinants
Abstract: In this article, we construct SL$_k$-friezes using Plücker coordinates, making use of the cluster structure on the homogeneous coordinate ring of the Grassmannian of $k$-spaces in $n$-space via the Plücker embedding. When this cluster algebra is of finite type, the SL$_k$-friezes are in bijection with the so-called mesh friezes of the corresponding Grassmannian cluster category. These are collecti… ▽ More

Conway-Coxeter friezes and mutation: a survey
Abstract: In this survey article we explain the intricate links between Conway-Coxeter friezes and cluster combinatorics. More precisely, we provide a formula, relying solely on the shape of the frieze, describing how each individual entry in the frieze changes under cluster mutation. Moreover, we provide a combinatorial formula for the number of submodules of a string module, and with that a simple way to… ▽ More

Homotopy invariants of singularity categories
Abstract: We present a method for computing $\mathbb{A}^1$-homotopy invariants of singularity categories of rings admitting suitable gradings. Using this we describe any such invariant, e.g. homotopy K-theory, for the stable categories of self-injective algebras admitting a connected grading. A remark is also made concerning the vanishing of all such invariants for cluster categories of type $A_{2n}$ quiver… ▽ More

Mutation of friezes
Abstract: We study mutations of Conway-Coxeter friezes which are compatible with mutations of cluster-tilting objects in the associated cluster category of Dynkin type $A$. More precisely, we provide a formula, relying solely on the shape of the frieze, describing how each individual entry in the frieze changes under cluster mutation. On the graded dual numbers, arcs, and non-crossing partitions of the integers
Abstract: We give a combinatorial model for the bounded derived category of graded modules over the dual numbers in terms of arcs on the integer line with a point at infinity. Using this model we describe the lattice of thick subcategories of the bounded derived category, and of the perfect complexes, in terms of non-crossing partitions. We also make some comments on the symmetries of these lattices, except… ▽ More

Transfinite mutations in the completed infinity-gon
Abstract: We introduce mutation along infinite admissible sequences for infinitely marked surfaces, that is surfaces with infinitely many marked points on the boundary. We provide a complete classification of the strong mutation equivalence classes of triangulations of… ▽ More

Cluster algebras of infinite rank as colimits
Abstract: We formalize the way in which one can think about cluster algebras of infinite rank by showing that every rooted cluster algebra of infinite rank can be written as a colimit of rooted cluster algebras of finite rank. Relying on the proof of the posivity conjecture for skew-symmetric cluster algebras (of finite rank) by Lee and Schiffler, it follows as a direct consequence that the positivity conje… ▽ More

Cluster algebras of infinite rank
Abstract: Holm and Jorgensen have shown the existence of a cluster structure on a certain category $D$ that shares many properties with finite type $A$ cluster categories and that can be fruitfully considered as an infinite analogue of these. In this work we determine fully the combinatorics of this cluster structure and show that these are the cluster combinatorics of cluster algebras of infinite rank. Tha… ▽ More
