I was dead set against the addition of new tld's six months ago, but I have come to the realization that this is impractical and short-sighted. That said, I support your statements and now believe that .web is the correct suffix for a global multi-lingual internet society. You simply can not opress the will and thought pattern of the people and .web is so natural an extention it begs to be added. I firmly believe it "will" be added.

The argument that this extention has been pre-sold to a select few is simply baseless and absurd. There are 17 million .com registrations.  How many registrations can there be for .web?  Perhaps a few thousand?

I challenge the naysayers to take initiative and register a name of their own if they truly believe in an extention, rather than attacking those who have done so.

I am jealous of the person or people who registered business.web too, but I am not prepared to damn a very powerful and global TLD because I couldn't get it.
